Copenhagen 22/8 2023.44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Drawing of a sloppy King with a five O’clock shadow.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is rather intense with a sharp citric odor mingling with a lighter touch of sweet stone fruits. Peach and apricot. Grapefruit and lemon. A bit acerbic.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. A bit sharp. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Sharp and intense take on a West Coast IPA.
