Copenhagen 4/6 2023. 75 cl waxed bottle from Meny, bores Allé, Frb. F. The usual howling Wolf from the Black Mash series - this time in a blue version.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Almost stable Settles as thin patches of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, earthy scent mingling with a bit of sour milk and dark alcohol. Toffee and caramel. A bit of brown sugar and chocolate. Molasseses and dark fruit. Sharp sweet bourbon.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, a bit sticky, soft and creamy, flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a notable boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is sticky, potent alcohol.
Quite a potent mouthful brimming with alcohol and intensity.
