Copenhagen 16/11 2024. 75 cl waxed bottle from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. The usual howling Wolf from the Black Mash series - this time in a silver and grey version.
Pours opaque dark brown with a rather small beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, malty and earthy scent mingling with dark alcohol and vanilla. Toffee, caramel and brown sugar. Chocolate molasses and raisins. Sweet brandy.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, a bit sticky, soft and creamy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and sugary with a notable boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is potent alcohol with a touch of vanilla. Boozy burn.
Heavy as a really heavy thing.
