Copenhagen 19/62022.44 cl can from Craftmakers Collective web-shop. Drawing of a couple of demented-looking kids infant of a crackling fire on the can.
Pours murky maroon with a midsized offwhite head. Stable. Settles thin but unbroken layer of foam just managing to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet odor of dark fruits mingling with alcohol and brown sugar. Sweet plums, biscuits and toffee. Brown sugar and caramel.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft and a bit greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish but with a ominous bitterness lurking and taking over. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Potent boozer with a bitter legacy.
