Copenhagen 20/3 2022. 75 cl capped and waxed bottle from Meny, Borups Allé. Drawing of a Getlema with a moustache on the label.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sugary sweet, potent odor mingling with cake-like, liqueur scent. Sugar with more sugar on top. Brown sugar and syrup. Dark roasted malts. Distinct scent of Tonka beans. Cinnamon and vanilla. Chocolate and alcohol soaked plums. .
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, soft, slightly sticky, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness ad almost no bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet, sugary and saturated with alcohol. Lingering for a long time. Finish is sweet and boozy.
Quite the Tonka bomb. If you are not into Tonka you won't make it to the bottom of this bottle.
