Copenhagen 18/2 2022. 75 cl capped and waxed bottle from Meny, Borups Allé. Drawing of bear-like, bearded, beast of a man on the label.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a big dark beige head. Very bubbly. Disappears completely leaving a black fluid behind. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sweet, potent odor mingling with earthy dark scents. Dark chocolate and cacao nibs. Sweet dark alcohol. Freshly polished leather shoes and humid soil.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, slightly viscous, sticky, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense and heavy sweet with almost no bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet, sugary and saturated with alcohol. Light bitter undertone. Lingering. Finish is sweet and boozy.
A very sweet and potent sipper. Then 75 cl is a quite big bottle.
