Copenhagen 28/9 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh, Ø. Brewers Playground brand can-design with a young couple frolicking by the hop trellises on a swing with a orange background.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of stone fruit mingling with a light scent of citrus fruit. Peach and oranges. Lemon (might be a Bergamot) and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Very much on the citric and dry side. Nice one.
