Copenhagen 9/8 2024. 44 cl can from Føtex, Mimersgade, Kbh. NV. A very morning fresh Squirrel on the can. It looks a bit like it's on Cocaine.
Pours slightly unclear amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, powdery layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a scent of nuts and brown sugar. Caramel and toffee. Hazelnuts. Brown sugar and light notes citrus fruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sourishly bitter with a light sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Brown Ale with a nutty touch and a bit of a bitter bite.
