Copenhagen 16/11 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé. Frb. F. A double up on very drunk Santas on the can by Simon Daugaards usual elegant hand.
Pours unclear, almost opaque, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet fermented odor of tropical fruits minting with a sharp and citric scent. Mango and passion fruit. Alcohol. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet touch of alcohol. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
A nice Double Christmas greeting.
