Copenhagen 21/2 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A ghoulish, Polish Water Demon on the can looking perfectly sneaky.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. Stable. Settles as a thin patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet malty and roasted odor mingling with earthy fumes and some sharp grains. Alcohol. Dark roasted malts, toffee and caramel. Cured leather. Black pepper. Coffee and dark chocolate.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is rather dry.
Potent spicy, dark fellow.
