Copenhagen 29/5 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Can in Amager's usual American Outlaws brand design with a Simon Daugaard drawing of The Kid looking goofy.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as a paper thin rim of foam running along the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, boozy dark odor with an earthy ouch. Dark roasted malts. Bourbon and vanilla. Brown sugar in abundance. Leather and wood.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong, sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a boozy, Bourbon undertone. Lingering. Finish is boozy wood.
A worthy tribute the most famous of outlaws.
