There is no tribute, poem or song to do you justice, so I won’t even try. Just know that if it’s at the rainbow bridge or anywhere else, I will find you. And until then, I will love you, sweet Kilo.

Copenhagen 21/8 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Alle, Frb. F. Drawing of Kilo the tireless dog traversing the rainbow bridge.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized, light beige head. Stable. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a lightly sweet malty odor mingling with a dry tart scent of dark chocolate. Sweet roasted malts, caramel and toffee. Dark chocolate and a bit of licorice. Earthy notes of leather.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick. oily, soft yet lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with an unforgiving streak. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
A bitter, old, dry dog.
