Copenhagen 31/8 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Drawing of rugged, tough Brewers looking skeptical on the label.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam managing to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate Lacing.
Aroma is intense, citric with a distinct sweetness lurking in the background. Peach, Mango and soft, ripe Pear. Strong citric notes. Grape fruit and sharp Citrus. Hints of petroleum.
Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
From the very bitter end of the spectrum. Bone dry and bitter. Nice one.
