Copenhagen 10/10 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Can in Amager Bryghus' usual Double Black Mash design with the howling wolf with name of beer and brewery in purple and orange letters.
Pours opaque dark brown with a same beige head- Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sweet and malty odor mingling with dark sweet alcohol and salty, woody notes. Dark roasted malts, dark chocolate and caramel. Bourbon in abundance. Barrel fumes. Sea salt.
Light carbonation.Rather thick, oily, soft, creamy, viscous. fat, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong boosy sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a potent touch of alcohol. Lingering. Finish is sugary yet rather dry.
Another Bourbon powerhouse from Amager Bryghus.
