Copenhagen 4/2 2026. 44 cl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Drawing of what looks like a strange crossbreed between af snake and a rooster on the can.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the sides of the glass. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and a tad sugary odor mingling with earty notes and whiff of alcohol. Caramel anf toggle. Brown sugar, Leather and tobacco, Dark alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while . Finish is quite dry.
A dark, earthy and quite bitter companion.
