A: The color is clear brown and the head is tall, beige and creamy. Slow dissipation leaves pretty nice lacings.
S: Dark roasted malt, somewhat sweet. Nuts and some butter.
T: Dry roasted dark malts. Nutty with a sulphur-twist. Bready and buttery. Some pear and faint red apples.
M: Body is medium to full while carbonation is mild. Aftertaste is kind of rough and a little bitter. Dry!
O: Not very complex. In my opinion they tried a little to hard - it kind of fell flat. The high ABV did not add to complexity.
