On tap at Maui Brewing Company in Kihei, HI.
Pours a hazy golden-orange with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, yeast, and lots of earth and spice aromas. Taste is much the same with dried citrus peel, earth, spice, and yeast flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice and yeast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is quite earthy for the style to me.
