On tap at Maui Brewing Company in Kihei, HI.
Pours a clear orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. A foamy lattice of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, tropical fruit, and pine needle aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, pine needle, and earthy hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty, but the hop presence is much better in the smell to me.
Serving type: on tap.
