On tap at Maui Brewing Company in Kihei, HI.
Pours a hazy dark orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to wisps film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, candied citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and tropical fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with candied citrus zest, grapefruit juice, pine needle, and earthy hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and sticky mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with lots of citrus and sticky sugar qualities all around.
Serving type: on tap.

Pours a hazy orange color with a head that lingers a bit, pretty long for a beer with this kind of ABV. Smell is tropical, hoppy, a little pine. Bitter tropical flavors on the front end of the taste, finishes with a clean bitter hop flavor with a touch of booziness. Again, not overbearing for 12.5%. Medium mouthfeel with nice carbonation. Overall I was extremely impressed with this one.
