12 oz can of "DA HAWAII LIFE LITE LAGER" can dated 03/05/25 and stated as 4.2% ABV, a citra and mosaic hopped lager. So, maybe the beer has evolved since the 2017 introduction (on beeradvocate). In any case, it's been a very long time since I reviewed a light lager.
Served in a tumbler. Beer is pale yellow, but forms loads of suds, and shows lot of bubbles. Honestly, can't complain so far. Not much aroma, but has a pleasantly potent hop bitterness in the flavor -- not a ton of flavor mind you -- but I was expecting was closer to "light American macro" and what I got was closer to "sessionable American IPA". Enjoyable mid-afternoon refreshment on a rainy Kauai day.

From the small can, it pours a clear light golden color with a very nice, long lasting, white head that leaves lacing. The nose gets some light citrus scent, followed by the mouth getting a light maltiness that is easy to drink.

Without a doubt one of the best lite lagers i had in recent memory. Scent, mouthfeel, and flavor allget impacted by the "liteness" of a beer. This one, frankly, not so and it was a welcomed experience.

Very nice looking: extremely pale gold, good frothy white head, fine bubbles streaming up from the bottom. Decent aroma of tropical, resinous hops as well. Flavor offers a nice taste of fruity tropical hops. Malt is low, as expected, and it's very dry and well-attenuated. Very quaffable body.
I like this! I would not have bought it on its own, seeing "lite lager", but this is a light AND tasty beer.

Canned 4/4/24, consumed 6/24, so it is not very fresh. The hoppiness is a nice twist on a lager, especially a light beer. Not impressive in looks; very pale yellow, with 1 finger of fairly loose head that recedes quickly. No lacing. But the Citra and Mosaic hops are apparent in smell and especially the flavor. Easily one of the better light beers I have had. My overall rating of "4" reflects the fairly unique properties of this light lager.

This was the final and least established beer in the mixed twelve I picked up for this windy April weekend. Nice head and lace for a lager. Nose is grainy but little else. Flavor is similarly limited with a bit of bread note and a touch of citus. Pretty clean and crisp, this seems designed as a beach brew.

Beautiful rocky head on the pour with some staying power, decent lacing. This lager is hopped with Citra and Mosaic hops, which really translates in the aroma and taste of this crisp American Lager. Too bad it's a limited release, I could drink these all year round. Nice job Maui!
