On tap at the Hana Ranch restaurant in Hana beautiful view from the deck outside. Slightly hazy deep gold color with a thin white head that slowly dissipates. Bready crackery maltiness with earthy spice to counter. Nice drinker.

Clear pale gold with 3 inches of white head. Head leaves splotches of lace as the levels drop.
Light malt and herbal hops.
Taste is cracker malt and herbal hops.
Mouthfeel is light with good carbonation. The finish light dry and balanced.
Overall a light lager. Date is 02/03/23.

Pours clear golden with a lot of tiny carbonation rising. 1 finger creamy white head with good lasting power.
Aroma of grain, grass, bread, hay.
Taste of grassy, sweet, honey, bread. Nothing overpowering or standing out.
Mouthfeel is somewhat lifeless which is surprising given the carbonation.
Overall, decent enough. Easy to drink. Sessionable.

12oz can into a pint glass. Canned 9/1/22, so 7 months old.
Slightly hazy yellow body, light tropical fruit aroma, stronger in the taste. Clean drink, another Maui beer for the summer months on the mainland.

boy has it been awhile since i had a new (to me) beer from maui, like years i think, and i dont see them much around idaho, so this was an exciting site on tap at hop haus recently. not the most compelling blonde in the world, beer flavored beer for the most part, but it does stand out from the crowd just a little bit in that its slightly fuller bodied and slightly sweeter than many, an unexpected development for the style, but its still not heavy or sugary, and the little extra bit of flavor and texture i think make it appealing, give it a little more staying power than just being a pounder. i think its also slightly more hoppy than most, although not bitter at all, definite citrus and pineapple notes on the swallow with the little bit of maltiness lingering, a fine finish for this. not perfectly clear but still real pale and light looking, frothy almost inch of white head, nose of fruity candy, earthy grain, and nothing at all from the ferment. the hops have some light oiliness in texture which beefs this up a little, and its not amazingly fresh tasting to my palate, but its not old either, just a little muted maybe. good carbonation makes it kind of brisk, and i liked this with sushi, fits the salty soy and the spicy wasabi and even the delicate fish pretty well, i think this does a little better in a food context like that. hoping to see more maui beers around...

Pale amber brew with plenty of coarse foam in the New Belgium snifter. Clean and malty tasting. No hop flavor as expected, but not flabby. A pleasant and unassuming beer in the parameters of the style. Adequate spritz on the tongue. There's just a slight gummy hint of astringency in the aftertaste. From the 12 oz can with "brewed in Denver" on the label and 06/27/22 on the bottom.

Aroma is big bread and grains. The flavor is fruit, big malts/bread and a slight tropical fruit/citrus peel/dryish/oily/mild toffee sweet/hoppy finish.

Poured from a 12oz can into a shaker pint
Look: Clear gold with a medium white head. A nice looking beer.
Smell: Bready and clean. Maybe a light lemon note and whole wheat bread. Nothing crazy here.
Taste: Bready up front that sticks around as a clean and light lychee and lemoncello hop note breaks up the bread note. The hops fade as the bread sticks around for quite a while. Doesn’t fade between sips.
Feel: Sweet and medium on the palate. Mild bitterness. No alcohol to speak of. Good carb.
Overall: A clean easy drinking beer. Nothing too remarkable here but good while you can still remember it.

Had on tap. Pours clear, gold in color with one third inch head. Taste is lemon and pilsner malt. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, slightly sweet. Nice summer sipper.
