On nitro tap at Maui Brewing Co
A: Pours cascading golden honey amber with a creamy light tan head that settles to a firm layer and leaves some thick lacing.
S: Smooth coffee and milk chocolate dominate, slightly earthy, faint spice, and toffee sweetness.
T: Roasty notes, smooth coffee, milk chocolate, toffee, honey, slight herbal notes, and a hint of licorice.
M: Medium to full body, mild to medium carbonation, smooth.
O: Having had Faction's Anomaly before, this feels like a lighter version that they added a local twist to. That being said, it's still a tasty golden stout.
