This one pours a darker black color, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.
This smells like toasted coconut, sweet vanilla cream, milk chocolate fudge, and roast.
This is nice take on a big fat pastry stout, without that huge body, and actually some balance to it. As expected, coconut is the star here, adding a creaminess and a toastiness. There's some light roast and some dark chocolate, along with creamy and sweet vanilla, and a touch of cohcolate-covered caramel. I don't really get the sea salt here, but that's not a big deal.
This is medium bodied, silky, and a bit creamy, with a great mouthfeel, and basically no booziness.
This isn't necessarily an improvement on the original, but it's intriguing and well-brewed.

Sweet chocolate malty, hint of vanilla, and hint of coconut nose on this one! Taste follows with a malty-sweet, coconut-caramel vibe...vanilla notes creep up at the very end and when it warms. This is feels good on the palate...not too thick or syrupy. It is nice and soft on the palate with a hard pour. This is tasty! I like it!

Very nice imperial porter, coconut is done very well here - often these adjuncts are either too sweet or remind me of suntan lotion at the beach. Or a pina colada. No date printed on bottle. Pours a thicker dark brown color with some fluffy off-white tan head and small sheets of lingering lacing, looks great. Smells of milk chocolate, medium roast coffee, vanilla, caramel, bread, malt, coconut, some weaker nuts and toffee. Taste follows the nose, great balance and depth, higher ABV was very well hidden and this was so easy to drink. Smooth, nice slightly sticky mouthfeel with great carbonation. Probably one of my favorite imperial porters thus far.

Very dark brown appearance with a slightly tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a very pleasant coconut with a touch of whiskey from the aging. Taste is also a very pleasant coconut with a background whisky touch.
