Appearance: Pours a a 50% hazy, light golden color with a soft white head. SRM of 8 and halfway hazy. (3.75)
Aroma: As described, strong aromas of gooseberry, grape, pear, lychee, green apple, following with a berry sweetness. (4.00)
Flavor: Flavor follows with green flavors of green citrus, green grape, pear, gooseberry, lychee, figs, and then a sweet berry through the finish. Juicy and sweet, yet has enough green bitterness through the end to provide a nice balance. (4.50)
Feel: Medium-bodied. Strong carbonation and feels quite crisp. A bitter astringency lingers among the sweetness for a nice balance. (4.00)
Overall: A fantastic and unique IPA. Excellent Nelson-Sauvin hop profile provides a nice gooseberry, green citrus/grape, and berry flavor here. Maintains the right amount of juiciness. The green profile appropriately balances the juice and this IPA is well-balanced and has an impressive finish. (Final Rating: 4.24)
