Enjoyed on tap, winter 2010. Served in pilsener style glass. Poured a beautiful black with a nougaty-chocolate nose that reminds me of Whoppers candy. Light roasty flavors are present on the palate and it is rather drinkable. Great accompaniment to some of their menu items.

German Black Pilsner on tap at the pub.

A - Pretty darned black, dark brown at the lip. Off white head disappates to light disk. Creamy tight lace.

S - Roasted malt undertow of coffee.

T - Creamy blend of coffee, cocoa and creamy milk.

M - I like the creamy feel and the subtle balance.

D - Nice but would tire after 1 or 2.
