On tap at Hops & Bottles, in honor of Barley, their dog. Cheers to you, Barley! Bright clear golden pour, thin skin of white head, solid lacing. Grainy, sweet aroma. Taste follows, biscuity, malty, clean. Not that much Belgian character.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery, winter 2010. Beer board indicates 5.2% and 20 IBU's, as well as self-described as a "malty golden ale". This one pours pale golden with virtually no head. Nose and palate have a soft cereal-malty like sweetness, without a huge hop crispness to round things out. Somewhat toasty and lager-like.
