On nitro tap at Maui Brewing Company in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii.
Pours an almost opaque super dark brown with a dense 2 inch beige head that settles to a small cap. Thin rings of foamy lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, slight coffee, and some sugar/lactose aromas. Taste is of dark roasted malt, coffee beans, and a slight cocoa flavor. A slight roasty bitterness after each sip. This beer has a creamy and smooth mouthfeel due to the nitro tap. Overall, this is a good stout that is tasty and easy to drink.
