Darker murk than usual. Minimal head retention. Big fruity aroma. Flavor is ultra fruity, punch-like and a bit overripe. Body feels just right: chewy but not syrupy. Better than I thought for a fruited IPA.

Smells of guava, passion fruit
Hazy orange color like fruit juice
Medium-heavy mouthfeel
Medium carbonation
Taste of passion fruit, guava, oranges, alcohol taste come through
Overall it is good except I like it when the alcohol is more hidden so I mark it down for that. Could be due to age and fruit flavors not as strong as when fresher.

When the hops suggest such vivid fruit flavor, Maui brewers don’t seem to give a “f” as they plump up their imperial hazy ale with actual orange, mango and guava for the “omg” moment.
Pale and hazy golden to the eye, OMFG builds a creamy white froth before drawing the senses with bold citrus, tropical fruit and an herbal floral character of fruit blossom and greens. Sweetened with cereal and fructose, the early taste seems of honey, honeysuckle and shortbread.
As the hops pull from the sweetness, a more hoppy natural taste of white grapefruit, orange and lemon await the fruit additions of valencia, mango and guava add a tropical fruit cocktail of taste. The Loral Cryo, El Dorado, Citra Cryo and Mandarina hops slowly develop into a fruity bitterness of citrus peel, tropical fruit peels and pulp. Additional balance of green tea, balsa, verbena and hemp.
Finshing nearly as tart as it does bitter, this Hawaiian cocktail of flavors carries a punch-like character with remnants of bitter sherbet and alcohol spice in a remarkably crisp, clean and daringly refreshing aftertaste. With all that added alcohol, it’s clear where the “f” comes in.
