On tap for The Full Pint 6th Anniversary Celebration held at 38 Degrees in Alhambra, CA.
Pours a murky super dark brown with a foamy khaki head that fades to nothing. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is of malt, caramel, toffee, and bourbon aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour fruit and caramel flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of woody bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer with a nice smell but the flavors are a bit off to me.
