Poured a hazy and bright copper hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a light resinous hop and sift malt.
Tha e taste was hop driven and softly ctric. A solid round malt did well to support and compliment the hops.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style with a residual hop spiciness.
Overall a bice west coast IPA.

Maxs IPA is characterized by aggressive bittering and a prominent grapefruit rind flavor. It is clear, polished gold with minimal carbonation and abstract lace. The aroma is restrained with a touch of grain husk and distant hop florals.
This one is not for the uninitiated. The bittering pinches the mouthfeel somewhat and cuts through spicy food like the prow of a Baltic icebreaker. Good, but not exactly subtle.
