Called by the brewery a "Red IPA", which is not a style here. Brewed as a fund raiser for Old Dog Haven: https://olddoghaven.org/ Bottle #305/357.
22oz bottle poured into 14oz teku. Accidentally aggressive pour gave me almost 2 inches of off-white head that had good retention and light lacing. That head was on top of a cloudy reddish-brown ale that had some slightly sweet malt base, and pine and floral hops in the aroma.
On the tongue, the beer had a bolder personality. Still a solid malt base, but the hops were brighter and bolder, and left a nicely lingering aftertaste at the back of the palate.
The body was fairly typical for a PNW IPA, full enough for foundation and backbone, but not so full as to be heavy. Drinkability was good, but maybe I shoulda shared the bottle with somebody. Overall, a solidly nice PNW IPA, and for a great cause. if you happen to see a bottle (I got mine at ES in Bham), grab it.
