12.68oz bottle poured into 14oz teku. Poured very still, no carbonation at all, so no head, retention, or lacing. Poured a dark brown color with just a slight reddish tint.
A slight fruity-sweet note was at the front of the nose, with some barrel, and some funk behind that.
Pretty similar on the tongue, with the barrel and booze at the front, the sweetness in the middle, and the funky yeast adding a tingle on the back end.
The body was full, smooth, and had a sweet finish, but damn sure coulda used some bubbles.
Drinkability was OK, but, again, some carbonation woulda helped.
Overall, a nice enough brew. Still worth a shot if you see it.
