Beautiful copper/amber body with some visible bubbles, but minimal head and it dissipates pretty quick.
Nose is pleasantly sour with the brett leading the way with an almost wood pulp character. Peach is mainly light around the edges and presents as sweet but not as descriptly peachy as I would love. I wouldn't pick out any tea except I'm looking for it and hoping for it and convincing myself it's there.
(update: so I poured it into two different glasses... and her glass [not the one I was writing the review from] is SIGNIFICANTLY peachier on the aroma and I'm a little jealous, ha).
Again the brett dominates the flavour. This happens to work for me because I like brett, but it's definitely a sour first, then there's some peach as a sweet halo and the stringent bitterness of the tea. There's still a woody character as well, but I think it's more from the brett than the barrels themselves, which have a minimal presence overall.
Smoothe and drinkable, it's definitely got a bite of tartness to it. I like that, and I like this, though it doesn't stand out for me as far as the peach tea character. This is an american brett sour first, with some tea and a bit of peach. I like it and it hits the spot for this hot languid afternoon, but it's not one I'd go out of my way for.
