Served in straight pint glass. Poured the expected black, with just a bit of reddish translucence around the edges.
The aroma was nicely roasty, with earthy malts underneath and no noticeable hops. The flavors were also about what you expected, nice roast solid malts and just a tickle of hops dancing around.
The body was rich, even and smooth. Drinkability was excellent, you could sip on multiple pints of these guys all day long, a true session beer. Overall, a nice take on the style, and a step up from the example you often see. Worth trying if you ever find yourself near Deming, WA.

In a word, satisfying. North Fork's Dry Stout exhibits the customary nitro qualities with a compact tan head on a lustrous black body. The flavor is unexpectedly abundant. It is creamy and gently, but bountifully roasted. The aroma shares a light bread crumb sensibility with dry fruity notes suggestive of strawberry or cherry. There's also a discernable whiff of sherry. And the body is feather bed soft.
An easy, all-night session beer, firm yet mellow, with a simple presentation of toasted bread.
