Served in straight pint glass, threw the lemon away. The beer poured the typical cloudy/hazy bright yellow of the style, with a relatively short, white head that that was about what I expected and had average retention and lacing.
The aroma was very good, the expected banana and clove scents having a strong presence. On the tongue the grainy wheat supported the clove and banana yeasts very well.
The body was good and solid, a bit better than average. Drinkability was very good, I normally drink these during the summer on NF's tiny outdoor patio.
Overall, one of the better Hefe's around, worth trying on your visit to the Northwest.
