Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean, clear medium golden amber color with about 1/4 inch of white head that had great retention and light lacing.
The aroma started off with a nice bit of grainy malt, then a nice mix of floral and citrus hops comes in. On the tongue, the hops move to the forefront and the malt provides solid support. Citrus hops have the largest role, but the floral and slight pine notes add a nice counterpoint.
The body was very good, crisp, clean, a dry finish and just a bit of citrus lingering. Drinkability was very good, you could drink several of these over a period of time and not get bored. Overall, another solid brew from one of the PNW's hidden gems of a brewery. A must try if you see it. But you probably won't see it unless you go to Deming, Washington. You can sometimes find some NF brews on tap around Bellingham, but just go to the brewery, you'll love it!
