This was listed as just "Red" at the local bar where I had it. It's not Son of Frog which is listed here as a Red. If I find out more info, I'll submit an update.
Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly hazy red-amber color with just a thin cap of off-white head that had decent retention and no lacing.
The aroma was a well-balanced blend of malts and hops. The malts weren't too sweet and the slight citrus notes of the hops blended well. On the tongue, the malts were a bit sweeter than in the aroma and clung nicely to the tastebuds. A nice little hop tang was on the finish.
The body was nicely full but wasn't heavy. Drinkability was very good, I had 3 a few nights ago and am enjoying another one right now. Overall, a nice little brew that's worth the drive out Mt. Baker Highway for a pint.
