I am a little biased about this beer, it may be one of my all time favorites. I just love the balance of malty goodness and a little hop finish to cut any sweetness. Finishes clean and is very drinkable.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly hazy brownish-amber color with less than an inch of off-white head that had OK retention and good lacing.
The aroma was predominately malts, a bit grain oriented and not too sweet, with some gentle hops in the background, and just a touch of yeast. The flavors followed along closely, the maltiness being balanced by the hops and the yeast adding a nice little tang.
The body was very nice, smooth and full, without being heavy or sticky. Drinkability was very good, a growler would be perfect for a falls afternoon of activities. Overall, a nice little brew, that's just one more reason to make the drive out to Deming if you're in the Bellingham/Vancouver area.
