Served in straight pint glass. Poured a very lightly hazy yellow with about 1/2 inch of white head that had low retention and no lacing.
The aroma started out with a tart, crisp scent, then the grainy wheat poked through from the background. The taste was pretty similar, crisp grains and a sharp tartness. The beer had a nice dryness on the finish.
The body was light and refreshing, and went down quite easily indeed. Drinkability was excellent, I could have drank these all summer (if Eric had gotten the beer made sooner!). Overall, a very good take on the style. Out at the brewery, they have the traditional syrups to flavor this. You should get out there and try this while it's available.
