Ride Your Bike Double Red Ale is a deep amber colored ale with big citrus fruit and earthy hop aroma. It is a huge mouthful of malt, pierced by a solid hop bitterness. Sweet bready malt flavors intertwine with the pungent grassy and pine-like hops and the finish is long and memorable. Ride Your Bike on over for this big double red ale.

Don't normally like hoppy Red/Amber ales, but gave this one a really good rating so this one must have hit the sweet spot.
Don't remember where I had it though, it was a number of years ago.

On tap at the Oakshire Public House in Eugene.
Deep ruby-brown body with a very good looking and durable head.
Overly boozy aroma.
Some spicy rye flavor is obvious. Initially, mild bitterness, but this builds to a moderate level.
Lively medium body.

Bought a bomber local craft beer store. Heavy bread aroma, hoppy taste but not overwhelming. For 8.6% abv, it goes down really easy. I'd definitely buy again.

Reddish-orange body with a very thick, creamy head; clumps of foam up and down the glass. Warm, malt aroma; bread-like; musty. Caramel malt flavors with a nice touch of hop bitterness; lightly toasted cereal; charred sugar tones; mild boozy quality at the finish. Heavy body; rich and smooth on the palate; creamy.
An smooth drinking big beer with a strong malt-forward quality. It delivers a warm, velvety treat to the palate with a noticeable but nicely balanced alcohol warmth at the finish. Very inviting.

quality beers at excellent price points, I love that about oakshire always. this one is nice, less hoppy than expected, but a generously malty red ale with a nice big body, a lot of cereal grain character, and an out of nowhere dry finish. its big beer, frothy and creamy on the palate, with little bubbles picking it up the whole way. a mix of dusty tasting European and fresh sweet American gains blend together really well, and there maybe some oats in here with all this body. hops are grassy and piney, no fruit at all. weird to see a red lack sweetness, but its a treat when you find one. a style I usually avoid for that reason, this is a good one. on tap at jakes in Littleton, one of the best little gems in town. good to see thee beers getting around the market a little bit. not sure about the abv for a beer called double, but it sure tastes good.

On tap at Bittercreek tonight... Pours a clear deeper amber with a good off white head.. nice retention and lacing. PNW hoppiness in full effect.. Pithy grapefruit and much lesser pine... toasty maltiness barely balances and adds a nice layer of complexity. The drinkability is good despite the "double" moniker. I would buy this one again, and I rarely pick up any amber ales anymore.
