i didnt really care for this berliner at all. its smelly like a real quick and real hot lacto starter that just never really matures. its light and sour in the wrong kind of way for me, less true to the actual berliner style. its supposed to be a clean tartness and a light delicate beer. this one is weighty and clunky and sour in a way that isnt flattering. lemon notes in here, apple too i think, and it just seems messy to me, maybe less well understood that some of the other styles they do. this is the first oakshire beer i have been down on. not enough carbonation, too much body, and overall just a werid side of lacto that doesnt work here for me at all. maybe it interacts weirdly with the other yeast, its hard to tell, but half a glass is about all i want of this thing.

Clear deep gold body quck dissipating white head leading to broken ring around edge of glass. Lemony wheaty nose
Taste up front is a bit sweet for style vinegary finish quite dry. Easy drinking worth a try.
