Bursting with aromas of tropical fruit & resinous pine, this West Coast IPA has an even balanced bitterness & satisfyingly dry finish. It's why we fell in love with IPA in the first place!

Another beer I barely remember other than the label. I gave it a good rating so must have been a really good beer and at the time I really thought Oakshire was a great brewery and probably still is but haven't had beer from them in at least 5 years.

Undated tall boy can purchased at Costco in Camus. Slightly hazy, a finger of head. Primarily fruit and a hint of pine on the nose. Heavy bitterness right up front, with fast fall-off of fruit notes. It's an ok NWIPA, maybe better on warm July afternoon than on a cold and rainy January night.

16 oz can. Pours clear straw yellow with a medium frothy head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet wheat malt and lots of tropical fruit with some green piney ashy hops.
The flavor is sweet biscuit malt with some fruit and a piney bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a decent IPA with too much biscuit malt for me.

16oz can (dated 5/18/20) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a somewhat hazy dark yellow color with 3/4 inch of white head that good retention and light lacing.
The aroma had the nice malt foundation and piney & citrus hop profile of a "traditional" American IPA.
Same on the palate: citrus and pine hops over a solid malt base.
The body was also typical for the style; medium, nicely carbed, and with a medium finish that leaned towards dry.
Drinkability was good, I'd happily drink a couple more.
Overall, a solid version of the PNW IPA. Worth a shot if you see it.

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 02/06/20
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice clean/clear golden yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, mango), slight pine. The taste is nice hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, mango, pineapple), piney. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty brew.

Copper and filtered with little carbonation and two fingers of whitehead.
Smells of pine and pineapple with hints of caramel and toffee.
The taste is a pine, crème brûlée, pineapple like ripe pineapple, and a little bitterness.
Medium syrupy body with little carbonation.
I got this in British Columbia Canada and I’m drinking it in Redding California September 20, 2019.

Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the glass. Prickly with carbonation. Hints of grapefruit with a whiff of the compost heap. Fairly sweet in a disturbing way. This just has a weird hop flavor. It's a funky and old fruit taste. You could call it dank, but there's a touch of cranberry candy and moldy oranges. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at the supermarket in Eugene.
