Look: Semi-opaque medium orange with a sudsy white head that builds and holds as a pillow for a bit, before finally relenting and leaving behind a web of lacing
Aroma: Mandarins, pineapple, blueberries, some pine, navel orange, wafts of peach, passionfruit, and sweet bready malt
Taste: Citrus fruit, peach, and pineapple start it off as a little jolt of pine follows close behind and blends quickly into the mix. Berries and tropical fruit shine once the initial hit fades slightly and malt is ever-present throughout. Closes with pine sap and needles and a nice hope bite
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, medium-high carbonation, and finishes with a somewhat light but definitely noticeable dry note
Overall: This is another tasty one. I’m an Oakshire fan and a huge geek overall (yes, beer included) so dug the idea of a STEM inspired rotating IPA, this being my second one in the series, and like the previous one, this is well-made, delicious, and unique. Lots of hop flavors/aromas I’m used to encountering but in unique combinations, like pine and pineapple for example. Recommended and I look forward to more of this and future releases in this series
