Single Batch Beer released December 2010
"The beer is made with 100% Crisp Marris Otter Pale malt and 100% Willamette Hops. Willamette hops are a relative of the English fuggle and were first bred in the Oregon Breeding Program in 1976. They are a very pleasant hop and lend a hint of spiciness to the aroma."

Growler from Belmont Station, poured into a Sam Smith imperial pint
Appearance- Tangerine color with some haze; quickly dissipating pale head
Smell- Nice herbaceous, citrus nose
Taste- Initial flavor is all malt, but not in the malt sugar way. Instead it is more like chewing pale malt on a brew day and reminds one of the smell of a brewhouse during the mash. This holds on valiantly but gives way to a nice citrus and grassy/herbal hop flavor that lasts.
Mouthfeel- Quenching at first, but the lingering hoppiness does coat the palate.
Overall- Not overly complex, but what would you expect from a single malt/single hop beer? This is well built none-the-less. This is the beer for all those that claim they wish there were more session beers made but then reach for a hoppy IPA anyway. Next time reach for this.

This single hopped pale ale (made with Willamette if the name was not obvious enough) appears hazy murky orange. It almost looks like a wit which is odd for the style.
It smells citrusy: I get a bit of an orange and lemon like smell. There is a strong toasted/ roasty like smell. I also get a bit a grassy and fruity smell.
It initially tastes if lemon and grapefruit. The citrus flavor is not overwhelming, though. There is a nice toasted roasted malt and a grainy flavor. There is a mild hoppy bitterness. The beer tastes fantastic. The malty toasty flavor blends perfectly with the citrus flavor of the hops. The slightly bitter after taste is a perfect finish to the beer. One of the best tasting and unique pale ales I have had.
There is a moderate carbonation and the mouthfeel is full-bodied and somewhat smooth.
It is very drinkable I could drink this all night, it is smooth and refreshing yet it has enough about it so that the beer is not boring.
A great beer. I believe it is fairly limited but if you see it is worth getting. Again it is one of the best pale ales I have had in recent memory, though it does look a little scary.
