Growler brought back to The Big by buddy, enjoyed 4.1.11.

Part of Oakshire's Single Batch series, Ratsel pours a clear reddish amber, no visible carbonation with minimal lacing under one finger off-white head. Nose features a prominent spicy hop presence balanced by significant amount of wheat. Taste is pretty hoppy for the style, this ain't your dad's hefeweizen, quite hoppy, a bit of resin, some citrus, meyer lemon, very interesting taste. Mouthfeel is medium, decent effervescence. This was really tasty stuff, not sure of the ABV guess it's in the 5.5-6 range. Worth seeking out, as are all the Oakshire Single Batch series. The only PNW beer I've had that comes close to this is Barley Brown's Shredder's Wheat, which should tell those in the know, this is pretty good stuff.
