After aging in Old Forester bourbon barrels for eleven months, this single barrel was transferred to a French VSOP Cognac cask. Giving the beer our double barrel treatment, we allowed it to age for an additional ten months to develop further layers of complexity. Boasting distinguished notes of oak charred tannin, sweet whiskey, and expressive vanilla, The Fear that Lives Inside presents itself unlike any beer that has left our cellars. Truly the darkness within.
