Draft pint enjoyed at Legends, the Portland Timbers and Thorns supporters' clubhouse across the street from Providence Park.
The beer is pale straw yellow with flawless clarity. The bright white head shrinks to a patchy ring quickly but still leaves respectable lacing on the plastic cup. The nose shows off a mild but pleasant maltiness with hints of toasted rice and a vague floral character. Flavor follows, offering crackery malt and floral hop spice with a subtle mineral edge. Agreeably dry. Slight tang of alcohol. Toasted rice comes through in the aftertaste. Feather-light body with ample carbonation. A clean, tasty, and rather satisfying example of the style.

16oz can
Pours a finger of fizzy white head into my Willi. Retention is subpar. Lacing is nonexistent. Body is pale yellow, crystal clear, with a healthy nucleation. Looks poor.
Nose is rice, starchy, maybe a little floral. Pretty standard. Smells good.
Flavor is nice enough, rice, sourdough, very straight forward.
Pretty light-bodied. Carbonation is medium. Well-attenuated, some dryness is the finish. Bitterness is barely noticeable. Overall an appropriate mouthfeel.
Drinkability is good.
For the majority of the beer the flavor hits a little tame and drinks on the drier side, overall just a really simple lager. However once the beer warms, the palate is brought down by a very odd astringent, almost fusel presence, which honestly seems impossible at this abv.

Clear amber brew with modest foam in the Stout glass. Pleasant aroma of cereal. Plenty of carbonation on the tongue with a thickish mouthfeel. This tastes rather grainy, and not much like rice. Fairly sweet with a touch of peach, which is nice, but little or no hop relief. But think of it as an excellent Blonde Ale with a tangy finish and you'll like it better. From the 16 oz can purchased up north. No apparent date.
