Poured into a Bevelled Pint @ Bier Stein
A - Pours a deep black, thick 1/2 finger brown head that fades to thin cap, great lacing
S - Smells of light roast, cocoa, yeast, caramel sweetness, not much to the nose
T - Tastes of sweet caramel, cocoa, light roastinesss, light spiciness, light spicy heat in the finish, tingles the tongue and mouth, slight ginger
M - Medium body, dry roasted finish, decent carbonation, tingly, warm (from spices and alcohol)
O - Good porter, lots of chocolate, light roast, sweet, dry roasty finish, a little spiciness, but couldn't really pick up the ginger in the nose or flavor other than a spicy heat in the flavor. Very good porter though. Good job Dana!
