This beer pours a reddish golden color with a thin off white head. The head fades fast, leaving no lace.
This beer has a subtle cascade like hop aroma. It also smells malty sweet. It actually smells more malty than I think it should. Almost unbalanced.
This beer tastes like it smells. It has a subtle hop flavor mixed in with way too much malty sweetness. At first, I had trouble drinking it. After 30 days at sea, it got easier though.
This beer leaves a sweet malty aftertaste. It is definately not balanced. The carbonation is right for the style.
This beer may make a decent session beer, but it is too malty for the style.
Overall: Befinately too malty for the style. Not enough hops. I know English IPA's are more subtle, but this is more like a malty pale ale. After I got used to it, it was ok though. For Singapore, you really cant complain. I suppose I will drink it again the next time I am in the country.
