Served on-draught into a Eschenbräu hefeweissbier glass. Reviewed from notes taken on June 2nd.
A: Two finger head of nice cream, soft, with good thickness and wonderful retention. Appealing. Hazy yellow colour (unfiltered).
Sm: Light cream, hints of esters. A light strength aroma.
T: Estery body over top a wheat foundation. Lemon tingly climax with a light restrained barley tone. Balanced but a bit simple. Built well but a bit too estery for the style.
Mf: Tingly climax. Coarse and wet, matching the flavours of the body.
Dr: 2.80 euro is a bit high by German standards, even for a microbrew. She slides down easily enough, but isn't an amazing brew by any stretch.
